FAQ's

  • What are the qualifications to be selected for an internship?
Interns must be in good standing with their university, majoring in an appropriate field for the department. We look for students who are curious, innovative, interested, driven, ambitious, and most of all, a good fit for our company.
  • What level of education do I need to obtain to be considered for an internship?
Students who are juniors working toward their bachelor's degree are given preference. Freshmen and sophomores are considered on a individual basis. In certain departments and roles, we will consider candidates entering graduate school or working toward a master’s degree.
  • Will I have to relocate?
Many times, interns have to relocate for the summer in order to maximize learning opportunities and obtain a cross-discipline experience. Some departments will also require travel.
  • Is there relocation assistance?
We do not provide relocation assistance for interns due to the short amount of time they are employed.
  • What is the program structure like?
The structure of the internship depends on the department. Each department that has an intern has expectations to follow a plan which includes objectives, task planning, mentorship and a connected food system overview. In addition, opportunities to learn about the whole company are organized for all the interns.
  • Will there be social events to meet other interns?
There will be company-sponsored events for the interns. Team members at each operation area are also encouraged to present opportunities for the interns in their location to network and socialize after work.
  • Are there any internships available other than in the summer?
We are open to hiring interns throughout the year depending on the candidate and their situation.
