Seaboard Foods community scholarship focuses on providing educational assistance to students. Of the 40 scholarships, three were awarded to students in Colorado, eight to students in Iowa, nine to students in Kansas, 16 were to students in Oklahoma and four to students in Texas.
Students were awarded scholarships based on achievements in academics, extracurricular activities, work experience and community involvement. More than 300 students applied for the scholarship.
