Shawnee Mission, Kan., April 8, 2020— Seaboard Foods awarded $1,000 scholarships to 40 students who live in the communities where Seaboard Foods does business. The students are pursuing certificates and degrees from technical schools, colleges and universities next fall.

The Seaboard Foods community scholarship focuses on providing educational assistance to students. Seaboard Foods awarded scholarships to students in every state it has operations: Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Colorado and Iowa.
Students were awarded scholarships based on achievements in academics, extracurricular activities, work experience and community involvement. More than 300 students applied for the scholarship.
