Continuous learning is key to what we do at Seaboard Foods. For that reason, we're committed to supporting and providing educational opportunities to our employees, their families and members of our communities. We support:
High school community scholarship program to support students in communities where Seaboard Foods operates who are seeking post secondary technical, two-year and four-degree education. Seaboard Foods will award 40, $1,000 scholarship to graduating high school seniors in 2020.
Compressed natural gas safety training courses for more than 70 local first responders in Guymon, Okla. As Seaboard Foods transitions to new CNG-powered fleets and farm trucks, it's essential for local first responders to be trained for emergencies relating to CNG-powered vehicles, especially since CNG-powered vehicles are not prevalent on today's roads.
